Description
This is an unfolding Dodecatheon pulchellum (Shooting Star) at a park near Victoria BC. It's interesting in the Victoria region how Spring flowers have been coming up for a month near the southern tip of the Island, close to the water, but in this park, 30 minutes north, I had to work hard to find a few individuals like these ones.
